Bird Banding/Avian Study Schedule

 

South Bass Island:   Fall 2019

September 11                            Setup PM and banding until 4:00 PM - The Vineyard

September 12                            Bird Banding - The Vineyard from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM

September 13                            Bird Banding - The Vineyard until noon

         (September 11 and 12 are open to the public but September 13 is a special program for Road Scholar participants only)

Middle Bass Island:   Fall 2019

September 22                            Setup PM

September 23 - 27                    Bird Banding; East Point Preserve from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM

September 28                            Bird Banding; East Point Preserve from 6:00 AM to noon then take down

​

All banding is open to the public; some banding may take place at the Forested Preserve on Fox Road depending on conditions.
